Pumpkin Treats

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (pumpkin puree not pie mix)
- 2 tablespoons dry milk
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large bowl, wish together eggs and pumpkin until smooth. Stir in dry milk, sea salt. Add whole wheat flour gradually, combining to form a stiff dry dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. If the dough is still rough briefly knead and press to combine.
Roll dough to 1/4″ thick. You can go up to 1/2″ thick if your pup like a larger treat. Cut dog treats into your desired shape using a cookie cutter, biscuit cutter, etc. Place cookies on a cookie sheet No need for greasing or parchment paper.
Place cookie sheets into oven and bake for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes switch cookie sheets from top to bottom, bottom to top. Bake an additional 20 minutes. Move cookies to cooling rack and let cool completely.
Makes about 75 small (1″ cookies) or about 50 medium sized cookies
Note: I save time by using a pizza cutter to cut my cookies, the pack doesn’t really care if they are in a cute shape or not.
