{"id":113,"date":"2016-06-27T21:34:37","date_gmt":"2016-06-27T21:34:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jessepannell.com\/?page_id=113"},"modified":"2016-06-27T21:34:37","modified_gmt":"2016-06-27T21:34:37","slug":"sausage-and-cheese-biscuits","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jessepannell.com\/index.php\/recipes\/human-recipes\/finger-foods\/sausage-and-cheese-biscuits\/","title":{"rendered":"Sausage and Cheese Biscuits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sausage and Cheese Biscuits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>This might have come originally from Bisquick but I\u2019m not sure\u2026 Mother has been making these at the holidays for as long as I can remember and she can\u2019t remember where she got the recipe.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><br \/>\n1 cup shredded cheddar cheese<br \/>\n2 cups bisquick or other baking mix<br \/>\n1 cup water<br \/>\n1 pound uncooked breakfast sausage \u2013 I use Jimmy Deans, sage or regular, if you like a kick use the hot<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><br \/>\nIn a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients. I use my hands on this one to add in that additional love and it\u2019s much quicker than using a spoon or other mixing instrument.<\/p>\n<p>Drop by teaspoon full onto a cookie sheet, about 1 inch apart, and bake until lightly brown<\/p>\n<p>You can control the number of biscuits you get by how large your drop them on the cookie sheet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equipment<\/strong><br \/>\nLarge mixing bowl<br \/>\nCookie sheets<br \/>\nTeaspoon<br \/>\nMeasuring cup \u2013 Wet and dry<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sausage and Cheese Biscuits This might have come originally from Bisquick but I\u2019m not sure\u2026 Mother has been making these at the holidays for as long as I can remember and she can\u2019t remember where she got the recipe.
