We love this because it adds a twist to leftovers and allows a break from true leftovers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jessepannell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/IMG_5693-1024x911.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-508\" width=\"411\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jessepannell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/IMG_5693-1024x911.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/jessepannell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/IMG_5693-300x267.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/jessepannell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/IMG_5693-768x683.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/jessepannell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/IMG_5693-1536x1367.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/jessepannell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/IMG_5693-2048x1822.jpeg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 411px) 100vw, 411px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>6 oz spaghetti<\/li><li>Cooking Spray (Olive Oil) <\/li><li>1 onion, died<\/li><li>2 small cans of mushrooms, sliced<\/li><li>3 cloves of minced garlic<\/li><li>1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup <\/li><li>2\/3 cup milk (I use 2%) <\/li><li>Black Pepper, to taste<\/li><li>2 cups diced ham<\/li><li>1 cup peas (cooked) (retain cooking water)<\/li><li>1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, I use whatever is on hand<\/li><li>1\/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese <\/li><li>1\/4 &#8211; 1\/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Cook spaghetti according to package directions<\/li><li>Spray a deep skillet with cooking spray and add onions.  Set skillet over medium high heat.  Spray onions again with cooking spray.  Cook onion until they are soft.  <\/li><li>Add mushrooms and continue to cook while onions continue to caramelize with the mushrooms.<\/li><li>Add garlic and cook until fragrant <\/li><li>Add soup, milk,  black pepper to taste and red pepper flakes (if using).  Mixand well <\/li><li>Add ham, peas, cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. <\/li><li>Stir and cook until cheese is melted.  Add reserved pea cooking water if the mix is too thick and not creamy <\/li><li>Add drained pasta to skillet and mix well <\/li><li>Serve with additional shredded Parmesan cheese and garlic bread <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Equipment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>3 quart or larger pot<\/li><li>deep skillet<\/li><li>measuring cups, wet and dry <\/li><li>measuring spoons, dry<\/li><li>Large spoon<\/li><li>Cutting board<\/li><li>Chefs knife<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ham Tetrazzini This is a great way to use leftover ham from a holiday meal.
